Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

The Indonesian Journal of Halal (IJH) accepts articles Indonesia language and English. IJH has focus publish several topics of halal studies such as Halal Process and Processing, Halal Management, Halal Law, Halal Economic Studies. halal products, services, tourism and Sharia. Other topics can be related to halal products and processes such as; Food Technology, Food Process and Processing, Pharmacy, Cosmetics, Drugs, Slaughtering and Meat as well as matters correlated with halal.

Articles submitted to IJH must be free from plagiarism.This is stated by a statement and proof of search using a plagiarism search engine such as turnitin. Similarities are allowed with a maximum limitation of 20%

Peer Review Process / Policy

The submitted paper to IJH will be assessed by the reviewer selected by Editorial Board. Paper that submited to IJH, will be  reviewed by the Editor in Chief. The review process include feasibility of the language and scope and theme of article. After that, the article was review for contents and formating by 2 reviewers. The criteria for assements are originality, significance and formatting. The Editorial Board has decided for article to accept, revised or rejected. If article was accepted, Author must revised article in 2 weeks for reviewer sugesstion. 

 

Publication Frequency

IJH publishes articles every volume of publication minimally publishes 6 articles. Every year 2 publication numbers will be issued. For the first year, it will be published in 2 publishing numbers

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Ethics Publication

All authors submitting their manuscripts to the Indonesia Journal of Halal for publication as original articles attest that the submitted works represent their authors’ contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works.
Authors won’t publish in the other journal as simultaneous submission. Republishing content that is not novel is not tolerated (for example, an English translation of a paper that is already published in another language will not be accepted).
The authors acknowledge that they have disclosed all and any actual or potential conflicts of interest with their work or partial benefits associated with it. Any facts that might be perceived as a possible conflict of interest of the author(s) must be disclosed in the paper prior to submission.
In the same manner, the journal is committed to objective and fair single-blind peer-review of the submitted manuscripts and to prevent any actual or potential conflict of interests between the editorial and review personnel and the reviewed material.
Authors should accurately present their research findings and include an objective discussion of the significance of their findings. Data and methods used in the research need to be presented in sufficient detail in the paper, so that other researchers can replicate the work.
The manuscript should not contain any information that has already been published. If it includes already published figures or images, it is necessary to obtain permission from the copyright holder.
If errors and inaccuracies are found by the authors after publication of their paper, they need to be promptly communicated to the editors of this journal so that appropriate actions can be taken. If the editor or the publisher learns from a third party that a published work contains a significant error, it is the obligation of the author to promptly retract or correct the paper or provide evidence to the editor of the correctness of the original paper.
Plagiarism, data fabrication and image manipulation are not tolerated. Plagiarism includes copying text, ideas, images, or data from another source, even from your own publications, without giving any credit to the original source. Reuse of text that is copied from another source must be between quotes and the original source must be cited. If a study's design or the manuscript's structure or language has been inspired by previous works, these works must be explicitly cited. If plagiarism is detected during the peer review process, the manuscript may be rejected. If plagiarism is detected after publication, the journal may publish a correction or retract the paper.
