Abstract

Sumber daya panas bumi memiliki potensi besar untuk mendukung kebutuhan energi bersih dan berkelanjutan, namun proses pengeboran panas bumi menghadirkan tantangan yang memerlukan pengelolaan data real-time untuk mencegah risiko teknis dan keselamatan. Geologis pada unit mudlogging berperan penting dalam mendukung operasi pengeboran dengan memantau parameter pengeboran seperti tekanan dan suhu, yang dapat memengaruhi stabilitas formasi dan kondisi peralatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kontribusi mudlogging geologist dalam pengawasan dan pengelolaan data pengeboran pada tahun 1998 pada 2 sumur panas bumi, 30A dan 32 di Dieng, guna meningkatkan efisiensi, keselamatan pengeboran dan penerapan etika profesi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi data pengeboran real-time dan analisis dokumentasi lapangan untuk memahami peran geologist dalam pengambilan keputusan di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mudlogging geologist mampu mendeteksi kondisi berisiko seperti kehilangan sirkulasi dan peningkatan kandungan klorida, yang berdampak pada keselamatan dan efisiensi operasi. Implementasi aspek Keselamatan, Kesehatan Kerja dan Lingkungan (K3L) serta penerapan etika profesi pada mudlogging geologist telah berkontribusi pada kegiatan pengeboran sumur panas bumi. Penerapan pemantauan berkelanjutan dan komunikasi data pengeboran real-time terbukti krusial dalam mengantisipasi masalah teknis dan memastikan keberhasilan pengeboran sumur panas bumi.
