TERHADAP MUTU WARNA KAIN KATUN BATIK}, journal = {Jurnal Ilmu dan Teknologi Perikanan}, volume = {2}, number = {2}, year = {2020}, keywords = {Sargassum sp., konsentrasi, kualitas warna, pewarna alami}, abstract = {Pewarna sintetis dapat menimbulkan beberapa masalah lingkungan terutama pada limbah cair yang dihasilkan selama proses pembuatan batik. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan sebagai pewarna kain batik adalah rumput laut (Sargassum sp.). Ekstraksi zat warna dari rumput laut (Sargassum sp.) diberikan tiga macam perlakuan ektraksi dengan konsentrasi rumput laut : air yaitu 1:15, 1:10, dan 1:5. Bahan pewarna untuk kontrol yaitu menggunakan ekstrak pewarna dari mangrove (Rhizophora sp.). Konsentrasi yang digunakan pada kontrol yaitu 1:10 sesuai standar dalam pembuatan batik pewarna alam. Hasil pengujian beda warna kain menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan konsentrasi zat pewarna Sargassum sp. berpengaruh terhadap nilai kecerahan dan arah warna kain. Perbedaan konsentrasi zat warna berpengaruh terhadap tingkat ketuaan kain namun pada konsentrasi lebih tinggi, kain mengalami kejenuhan untuk menyerap zat warna sehingga perubahan warna perlakuan B dengan C tidak berbeda nyata. Hasil pengujian tahan luntur warna terhadap gosokan kering menunjukkan pada semua perlakuan memberikan hasil nilai Staining Scale (SS) 4-5 dan pada gosokan basah menunjukkan nilai A yaitu 4-5, B dan C yaitu 4 yang artinya semua perlakuan dalam kategori baik. Hasil pengujian tahan luntur warna terhadap sinar matahari menunjukkan nilai nilai Grey Scale (GS) A yaitu 3-4 yang artinya cukup baik, sedangkan B, dan C yaitu 4 yang artinya nilai tersebut dalam kategori baik.}, issn = {2685-3701}, pages = {42--49} doi = {10.14710/jitpi.2020.9639}, url = {https://ejournal2.undip.ac.id/index.php/jitpi/article/view/9639} }
