The results showed that changes in the shoreline of Teluk Awur waters were dominated by abrasion compared to accretion. Abstract
Shoreline change is an ongoing process where the coastline can experience erosion (abrasion) and addition (accretion) caused by several factors such as sediment movement, wave movement, and land use. This study uses Landsat 7 and Landsat 8 image data, with data processing using DSAS (Digital Shoreline Analysis System) software. Other data used are tidal data and wind data. Factors that cause abrasion are the wind that generates waves and the absence of breakwaters, while accretion is caused by a sedimentation process.
