Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui distribusi suhu, salinitas, densitas terhadap kedalaman dan jenis massa air serta nilai maksimum efisiensi carnot, power gross (Pg) dan power net (Pnet) di perairan timur – utara Pulau Bali . Dari hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa perairan timur – utara Pulau Bali jenis massa airnya adalah North Pasific Intermediate Water (NPIW). Nilai efisiensi carnot maksimum 0.828463, power gross (Pg) 0.0215 (MW) dan power net (Pnet) 0.0170 (MW) . The waters of Bali Island are through by ARLINDO with a temperature 5 ˚C – 10 ˚ C making them particularly suited for the development of renewable energy for Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC). The objectives of this research are to determine the distribution of temperature, salinity, density to the depth and type of water mass and also to determine the maximum value of carnot efficiency, power gross (Pg) and power net (Pnet) in east – north Bali Island . Based on the research indicates the type of water mass in east – north Bali Island is North Pasific Intermediate Water (NPIW). The value of maximum carnot efficiency 0.828463, power gross (Pg) 0.0215 MW and power net (Pnet) 0.0170 M W. }, issn = {2714-8726}, pages = {386--395} doi = {10.14710/ijoce.v2i4.9346}, url = {https://ejournal2.undip.ac.id/index.php/ijoce/article/view/9346} }
