Abstract
Tegal City Government will repair the 760 meter Ahmad Yani Street section using
the "Tegal City Walk" concept in 2021. After two years of implementing the One

2023 to determine the effectiveness of the One Way System implementation.
Direction.
This research aims to find out several things related to the implementation of the
One Way System (SSA) on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Tegal City. Analysis of traffic
performance was carried out in current conditions to find out and understand
traffic problems in the research area. Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI),
published by the Ministry of Public Works in 1997.
The data taken in the research survey was then analyzed using the 1997 Indonesian
Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) to obtain a road capacity (C) of 1,407 smp/hour.
Vehicle volume on weekends is 835 smp/hour during the morning rush hour, 928
smp/hour during the afternoon rush hour and 675 smp/hour with a degree of
saturation (DS) of 0.59 during the morning, 0.66 during the afternoon and 0.46
during the evening. Based on the value of the degree of saturation (DS), Jalan
Ahmad Yani Tegal City is included in the characteristics of service level C where
the traffic flow is stable and the speed, vehicle movement can be controlled and the
driver is limited in choosing speed because it is still an urban road.
