Focus and Scope

JIIP: Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Pemerintahan adalah wahana pendorong perkembangan ilmu politik dan pemerintahan melalui dokumentasi hasil-hasil penelitian serta kajian kritis terhadap berbagai konsep baru, fenomena, dan peristiwa dalam kehidupan politik dan pemerintahan di Indonesia. Adapun ruang lingkupnya terdiri dari beberapa kajian, antara lain:

JIIP: Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Pemerintahan is a platform that promotes the development of political and governmental studies through the documentation of research findings and critical analyses of various new concepts, phenomena, and events in political and governmental life in Indonesia:

Peer Review Process / Policy

Semua artikel yang dikirimkan ke jurnal ini harus memenuhi fokus dan ruang lingkup (focus and scope), serta panduan penulisan yang telah ditetapkan dalam jurnal ini. Naskah yang menyimpang dari ketentuan di atas, akan dikembalikan secara langsung oleh editor. Tidak hanya itu, semua isi naskah harus bebas dari plagiasi, karenanya disarankan bagi penulis agar menggunakan softaware deteksi plagiarisme untuk melakukan pemeriksaan kesamaan (similarity) terlebih dahulu sebelum dikirimkan ke OJS. Setelah artikel masuk di OJS, maka editor akan mengecek tingkat similarity artikel dengan menggunakan perangkat Turnitin. Editor akan mempertimbangan tingkat similaritytersebut untuk keputusan apakah akan ditindak-lanjuti ke reviewer atau dikembalikan ke penulis.

All articles submitted to this journal must comply with the established focus and scope, as well as the writing guidelines set by the journal. Manuscripts that do not conform to these requirements will be returned directly by the editor. In addition, all submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Therefore, authors are strongly advised to use plagiarism detection software to check the similarity level prior to submission to the OJS. Once the article is submitted through OJS, the editor will assess the similarity level using Turnitin. The editor will consider the similarity results in deciding whether the manuscript will proceed to the review stage or be returned to the author.

Jika editor memilih untuk memproses review terhadap artikel, maka artikel akan dikirimkan kepada reviewer dengan sistem Single Blind, yakni proses review dengan menghilangkan jejak penulis. Artinya, reviewer tidak bisa melihat nama penulis, dan penulis juga tidak  mengetahui siapa reviewer artikelnya. Adapun secara keseluruhan, proses review bisa dijelaskan dalam bagan di bawah ini:

If the editor decides to proceed with the review process, the manuscript will be sent to reviewers using a single-blind review system. This means that the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and the authors do not know the identities of the reviewers. Publication Frequency

Jurnal ini terbit dua kali dalam satu tahun, yakni Bulan Maret dan September. Untuk edisi Maret, maka pengiriman naskah terakhir (deadline) adalah tanggal 16 Januari, sedangkan untuk edisi September, maka deadline penerimaan naskah adalah tanggal 16 Juli.

This journal is published twice a year, in March and September. For the March issue, the manuscript submission deadline is January 16, while for the September issue, the submission deadline is July 16.

Open Access Policy

Jurnal ini memberikan akses langsung dan tebuka kepada artikel dengan prinsip bahwa hasil penelitian yang diterbitkan secara bebas dan umum bertujuan untuk mendukung pertukaran pengetahuan global yang lebih luas.

This journal provides immediate and open access to its articles on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a broader global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
