General Requirement
Articles submitted to Jurnal Geosains dan Teknologi are scientific experimental research in geology and the applied technology to support the geoscience. The scope of geoscience itself includes geology, geodynamics, geophysics, hydrogeology, environmental geology, volcanology, geothermal, petroleum geology, and mining geology.

The manuscript page setup is on A4 paper size (210 x 297 mm), with margins: 3 cm top, 3 cm bottom, 2.5 cm left, 2.5 cm right.
The title is center aligned, bold and capitalize each word, font size 12. Title must identify the main theme of the article, no unusual abbreviation.
Author(s) names are positioned under the title, do not abbreviate last nameand no academic title. Add an asterisk (*) in superscript behind the corresponding author's name. The next line is the information of affiliation, including the department/ unit, university/ institution, and the address.
Abstract is written in two version, in Indonesian and English. The content of abstract must include background, aims, methodology, the result and conclusion of the research. Maximum words allowed is no more than 250 words. Keywords are positioned under the abstract, separated by semicolon. The English version is written italic and after the Indonesian abstract.
Paragraph layout is set into 2 columns, the spacing is 0.75 cm. Paragraph with single line spacing and justified, font in Times New Roman size 11.
Figure must be provided in high resolution. Each figure has caption below the figure and numberized sequentially (ex. Gambar 1., Gambar 2., ...), font size 10. Table should be bordered only by horizontal lines, with no vertical lines. Each table is sequantially numbered and followed by title above the table. In the case where figure and table size are wider than the two column margin, they should be arranged into one column and in the center. The reference can be cited in the sentence by entering the author(s)'s last name (us dkk after the first author if there are more than two author) and published year.
The article content must be written in sistematic chapters as the following guideline:
Introduction. The chapter titled "Pendahuluan", includes the comprehensive paragraph about the literature so there is no need for the reader to do additional research about the big theme of your topic. introduction at least consist of background, aim of study, location of study, and regional geology. Brief explanation of previous study basically will show the gap analysis of your research. Hypothesis is also written down in Pendahuluan.
Methodology. The article in JGT be scientific articles, thus methodology must consist of the break down of every method that is conducted in the research. Methods can be study literature, field observation, laboratorium work, data management and processing. Any equipment and application utilized must also be mentioned. The chapter titled "Metodologi".
Result. The result of all methods are written in this capter titled "Hasil". The result may be numbers displayed as tables, or diagram and photo as figures within the text.
Discussion. This chapter is the most critical part of the article, which consist of the discussion based on the result in the previous chapter. The chapter titled "Pembahasan" explained the scientific interpretation, classification, the relation between analysis result to the aim of study, or evaluation of hypothesis, whether it is accepted or rejected. Please avoid long citation from previous study.
Conclusion. The aim of study must be answered in this chapter named "Kesimpulan" and written in brief and clear sentences. This chapter is not a resume, analysis result, or even rewriting the Abstrak.
Acknowledgement. In this part titled as "Ucapan Terima Kasih", author may present acknowledgement to all the party that has funded the study/ research.
References. All the references from referred literatures, tables, and figure are listed in this part. The citation use APA (American Phsycological Association) output. Author is highly encouraged to use the reference application such as Mendeley , Endnote, turnitin, zotero to provide the citation output.
