Keterikatan Anak Sekolah Dasar di Desa Pagar Dalam, Provinsi Lampung terhadap Ruang Bermain

Abstract
Sense of place adalah upaya sesorang untuk memahami ‘status’ mereka dalam dunia dan membentuk rasa identitas diri. Dari sense of place ini seseorang memiliki identitas tempat. Identitas tempat sendiri berkembang karena penjelajahan seseorang di lingkungan terdekatnya. Penjelajahan lingkungan di awali sejak usia dini dengan berbagai cara. Salah satu cara menjelajahi lingkungan adalah dengan bermain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola ruang bermain anak berdasarkan karakteristik tempat, dan karakteristik demografi anak. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemetaan mental kepada 80 anak kelas 1 hingga 5 dan pengukuran indeks keterikatan tempat kepada 44 anak yang duduk di kelas 4 dan 5 Sekolah Dasar, di Desa Pagar Dalam, Provinsi Lampung. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 75% anak-anak pedesaan memilih bermain di lingkungan dekat rumahnya. Tingkat identitas dan ketergantungan tempat pada semua ruang bermain bernilai baik. Sedangkan interpretasi peta mental, elemen alam pada kategori penilaian memiliki skor yang hampir dominan pada beberapa ruang bermain. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah anak pedesaan cenderung memilih ruang bermain yang dekat dengan lokasi tempat tinggal mereka dan adanya perluasan jangkauan dalam mengeksplorasi ruang bermain yang lebih jauh berdasarkan umur dan gender. Keterikatan fungsional dan keterikatan emosional anak terhadap ruang bermain berbeda-beda dengan elemen alam yang sangat dominan.
