Abstract

Studi ini melihat determinan keberlanjutan petani sawit swadaya menurut pengaruh dan ketergantungannya pada tiga tipologi wilayah Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Variabel kesesuaian lahan yang memiliki posisi paling penting terhadap sistem keberlanjutan. Determinan penyerapan tenaga kerja, peluang usaha lain dan akses finansial merupakan variabel terdampak. Sementara itu, determinan teknologi informasi dan sosial media serta hasil produksi sawit menunjukan variabel dengan sensitivitas tinggi dan sangat tidak stabil dalam rantai pasok perkebunan kelapa sawit swadaya. Intervensi apapun pada variabel-variabel yang disebut terakhir tidak akan stabil bagi pembangunan kelapa sawit serta akan memberikan dampak terhadap keseluruhan sistem keberlanjutan petani sawit swadaya. Hasil analisis MICMAC menjadi titik tolak faktor-faktor yang menentukan sistem rantai pasok petani sawit swadaya berada pada keberlanjutan atau sebaliknya di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Hasil merekomendasikan faktor kesesuaian lahan sebagai determinan strategis di tingkat kabupaten untuk mencapai rantai pasok yang kredibel bagi keberlanjutan dari tingkat lokal hingga nasional.
