Abstract
Cultural heritage area in Pontianak need to be preserve by developing and turn into a touris destination. To do this development, there needs to be people or organization to be involved in, called stakeholders. This study aims to describe who is involved and the relationship between stakeholders in management and strategies for managing cultural heritage areas in Pontianak City. To achieve the objectives of the study, use data which is then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis and stakeholder analysis. After the analysis results are obtained, it will then be included in Pentahelix modeling to further explain the roles and functions of the stakeholders. From the analysis results obtained by stakeholders in the development of cultural heritage areas as a tourist destination in Pontianak is the Agency for Regional Development of Pontianak City, Youth, Sport and Tourism Office of Pontianak City, the Pontianak City Tourism Promotion Board and the East Pontianak District Government as stakeholders with high influence and high importance. Next are community leaders such as historians and tourists as stakeholders with low influence and high interests as well as travel agents and tourism supporting business actors as stakeholders with low influence and low interests.
