Bagi sekolah yang berada di wilayah rawan bencana seperti banjir, gempa bumi, dan tanah longsor, maka akan bertambah risiko bahayanya. Murid, guru, dan pegawai sekolah dasar yang berada di lingkungan sekolah kurang lebih tujuh jam sehari diperlukan pemahaman dan kemampuan menghadapi kondisi darurat agar mampu melakukan tindakan menyelamatkan diri bila sewaktu-waktu menghadapi kondisi darurat di lingkungan sekolah. Upaya meningkatkan kewaspadaan menghadapi kondisi darurat tersebut, bagian Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Diponegoro memberikan bantuan berupa Pemasangan Safety Sign (tanda-tanda keselamatan) di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar Negeri Tugu 2 dan Edukasi Safety pada Guru dan Anak Sekolah Dasar agar memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang cukup dalam menghadapi kondisi darurat. Kegiatan berlangsung 4 kali kunjungan meliputi: pemasangan safety sign, melakukan pretest, pemberian materi, melakukan posttest. Hasil analisis pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada pengetahuan peserta dari rerata 47,2% menjadi 80,5%. Diharapkan kegiatan ini ditindaklanjuti oleh pengelola sekolah dengan mengadakan kegiatan serupa di lingkungan internal secara kontinyu di dengan berbekal pemberian edukasi dari Tim Pengabdian bagian K3 FKM Undip. Schools that are located in areas prone to disasters such as floods, earthquakes and landslides will be at increased risk of danger. Students, teachers and school employees are on the school approximately seven hours a day. They need to understand and be able to deal with emergency conditions so they can save themselves if they face an emergency in the school environment. In an effort to increase awareness in facing these emergency conditions, the Occupational Safety and Health department, Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University provided assistance for installing safety signs in the Tugu 2 State Elementary School and safety education for teachers and students so that they have the knowledge and skills to deal with emergency conditions. Activities include d : installing safety signs, pretest, providing materia, and posttest. The test results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge from an average of 47.2% to 80.5%. It is hoped that this activity will be followed up by the school management for holding similar activities in the internal environment continuously .
