The Journal of Biomedical and Clinical Nutrition (JBCN) is a national electronic journal that follows a peer-review process. JBCN adheres to high standards of publication ethics, including honesty, integrity, and transparency throughout all editorial processes. These principles apply to all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, the Editor-in-Chief, the Editorial Board, peer reviewers, and the publisher, Universitas Diponegoro.
This statement is based on the COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Each submitted article is initially evaluated by the editors. If the manuscript meets the required standards, it is then sent for a blind review by at least two members of the Editorial Board. The review outcome may be acceptance without revisions, acceptance with minor revisions, acceptance with major revisions, or rejection.
Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations. A written decision regarding the status of the manuscript, whether accepted for publication or rejected, will be communicated to the authors.
The Journal of Biomedical and Clinical Nutrition (JBCN) operates under a No Article Processing Charge (No APC) policy. Authors are not charged any fees for manuscript submission, processing, or publication.
All articles published in JBCN are open access and freely available online. Every published article can be read and downloaded free of charge by anyone.
