Sintesis CeO2 Dengan Metode Green Synthesis: Studi Sifat Fluoresen

Abstract

Penelitian tentang sintesis Serium oksida (CeO2) menggunakan metode green synthesis telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis Ce(NO3)3·6H2O sebagai prekusor serium dan ekstrak teh hijau sebagai bioreduktor menggunakan green synthesis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan variasi perbandingan volume larutan Ce(NO3)3·6H2O 0,05 M dan ekstrak teh hijau, untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap sifat fluoresen CeO2 yang dihasilkan. Hasilnya dianalisis dengan ATR-FTIR dan spektroskopi fluorensen. Berat produk sintesis meningkat dengan naiknya konsentrasi ion Ce3+ dalam prekursor. Kemurnian CeO2 diketahui dari munculnya gugus-gugus pada spektra ATR-FTIR yang spesik dengan flavonoid. Semakin tinggi kadar ion Ce3+ yang digunakan, semakin murni CeO2 yang dihasilkan. Semua sampel CeO2 mengabsorpsi gelombang elektromagnetik pada λ= 250 nm dan menghasilkan fluoresensi pada λ= 497 nm. Semakin murni CeO2, maka semakin tinggi intensitas emisi fluorosensinya.
