Pengetahuan dan Perilaku Apoteker Terhadap Penggunaan Antibiotik di Kabupaten Nganjuk Jawa Timur

Abstract

Salah satu ancaman kesehatan global adalah resistensi antibiotik. Antibiotik yang digunakan secara berlebihan dan tidak rasional dapat menimbulkan reaksi yang dapat merugikan. Oleh karena itu, pengetahuan dan perilaku mengenai penggunaan antibiotic sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku dari apoteker, mengetahui korelasi antara pengetahuan, dan perilaku, serta mengetahui faktor sosio-demografi yang mempengaruhi pengetahuan  dan perilaku apoteker. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner terhadap 143 responden dari 170 apoteker dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis  dan uji Mann-Whitney. Pengujian tersebut untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor sosiodemografi dengan pengetahuan dan perilaku, serta uji Spearman Correlation Coefficient untuk mengetahui korelasi antara pengetahuan dengan perilaku. Hasil yang diperoleh menyatakan sebanyak 90,9% apoteker yang bekerja di apotek memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tinggi, dan 83,9% memiliki perilaku yang baik. Berdasarkan uji Spearman Correlation Coefficient, variabel pengetahuan dan perilaku saling berhubungan dengan korelasi sebesar 0,279 dengan nilai p-value <0,001. Apoteker yang memiliki pengetahuan tinggi maka perilakunya juga baik. Faktor sosiodemografi seperti tahun kelulusan, lama bekerja, posisi pekerjaan, dan tingkat pendidikan memiliki pengaruh terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku terhadap antibiotik.
