Abstract

Latar belakang: Virus Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-Cov 2) atau Covid-19 telah menyebar dengan sangat cepat melalui udara yang menyebabkan lebih dari 4,2 juta kasus kematian di dunia. Virus ini memberikan dampak negatif pada beberapa penderita penyakit kronik. Salah satu yang terkena dampaknya adalah penderita diabetes mellitus. Tujuan : penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola penggunaan antidiabetes dan outcome penderita diabetes yang terinfeksi Covid-19 di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah M.Yunus Bengkulu. Metode: penelitian ini adalah penelitian ini deskriptif dengan pengambilan data secara total sampling. Data diambil melalui rekam medis pada RSUD M.Yunus Bengkulu rawat inap pada tahun 2021 sebanyak 62 pasien. Hasil : berdasarkan hasil penelitian di dapatkan pola pengobatan antidiabetes pada pasien Covid-19 yaitu 4,48% tidak diberikan antidiabetes, 14,51% diberikan antidiabetes oral, 54,83% diberikan Insulin, dan 25,80% diberikan kombinasi insulin dan antidiabetes oral. Outcome terapi didapatkan 64,5% pasien sembuh dan 35,5% pasien dinyatakan meninggal.  Kesimpulan : Pola terapi antidiabetes paling banyak adalah kombinasi Insulin (Insulin Long acting dan rapid acting) dengan outcome pasien dinyatakan sembuh. Saran : Penelitian lanjut terkait efek samping pasien diabetes yang di diagnosa Covid-19 dan interaksi obat yang digunakan pada pasien.
