Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to explore the potential use of digital microlearning media in improving students's knowledge of simple bridge denture care. Methods: This study is a pilot study with a quasi-experimental design and a pre-post-test non-equivalent control group design in two groups. A total of 20 participants took part in the study. The control group (n=10) underwent conventional learning, while the intervention group (n=10) received learning using digital microlearning media. Participants' knowledge levels were measured using a multiple-choice questionnaire related to the learning material. Statistical analysis was performed using Quade's ANCOVA test.  Result: The results showed a higher increase in knowledge in the intervention group, but Quade’s ANCOVA test showed no significant difference between the control and intervention groups with an F value of 0,128 dan p value of 0,725 (p > 0,05). Conclusion: This study shows that the use of digital microlearning media has not had a significant effect on improving students's knowledge of simple bridge denture care compared to conventional learning, so development is needed in terms of media design, implementation strategies, and evaluation.
