Methodology/Approach/Design: This research adopts a socio-legal approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data sources, which are subsequently analyzed using a prescriptive method. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that although Law No. 4 of 1997 concerning Persons with Disabilities has been replaced by Law No. 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities, social and cultural barriers continue to be faced by persons with disabilities. Obstacles to legal protection persist due to the lack of optimal support from the justice system and the absence of specialized training for law enforcement officials on how to appropriately treat persons with disabilities as seekers of justice. This situation contributes to social bias and doubts regarding their credibility, resulting in many cases of sexual violence against persons with disabilities failing to achieve justice. Practical Implications: This study provides recommendations for law enforcement officials in delivering inclusive protection services, case handling, and referral mechanisms for persons with disabilities who are victims of sexual violence. }, issn = {3046-9600}, doi = {10.14710/pls.31344}, url = {https://ejournal2.undip.ac.id/index.php/pls/article/view/31344} }
