Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the fulfillment of the right to mental rehabilitation for victims of dating violence, particularly women, in Semarang City.

Methodology/Approach/Design: This research is a non-doctrinal study employing a socio-legal and qualitative approach. The data sources consist of primary data obtained through in-depth interviews with victims and rehabilitation practitioners, as well as an analysis of relevant policy documents, and secondary data analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method.

Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that, although supporting regulations exist, their implementation in practice remains constrained by various factors, including limited facilities, inadequate access to information, and the social stigma attached to victims. This study recommends strengthening inter-agency cooperation and increasing public awareness of the importance of mental rehabilitation services for victim recovery.

Practical Implications: This study contributes to recommendations for improving access to justice with regard to legal protection for victims of dating violence and enhancing public awareness in efforts to support the physical and psychological recovery of victims.
