Results and Discussion : the findings reveal that the implementation of identity protection for children in conflict with the law at Polrestabes Semarang has not yet been optimal and effective. However, various efforts have been made by the Women and Children Protection Unit of Polrestabes Semarang. Practical Implications : this research has practical implications for evaluating law enforcement, particularly within the context of the juvenile criminal justice system. It provides a space for reflection for the police, media, and courts to pay closer attention to the interests and the right of children in conflict with the law to not have their identity published. This study also highlights the need for legal system reform and adjustments that are more detailed and child-friendly.
