The Journal of Sustainability Perspectives ( J. Sustainability Perspect. ) is an open-access, peer-reviewed platform grounded in the belief that sustainability is not a single pathway, but a constellation of perspectives shaped by science, culture, ethics, and practice. Recognizing that sustainable development requires balancing the demands of progress with environmental integrity and the long-term continuity of human civilization, JSP invites scholars and practitioners to explore how diverse viewpoints—scientific, societal, technological, indigenous, policy-driven, and practice-based—can be integrated to address global sustainability challenges.

Published three times a year, JSP welcomes interdisciplinary works addressing environmental management, climate action, ecosystem restoration, sustainable materials, circular economy, governance reform, and community-based sustainability practices, alongside emerging approaches that rethink how societies can achieve harmony with nature. By synthesizing scientific evidence with real-world lessons learned, the journal aims to elevate the understanding of sustainability transitions and inspire replicable models that can be adopted globally.

Through this integrative and philosophical lens, the Journal of Sustainability Perspectives seeks to serve as a nexus for knowledge exchange—uniting researchers, policymakers, educators, and communities to collectively shape a more equitable, regenerative, and sustainable future.
