Abstract

Penanganan situasi pandemiCovid-19 saat ini, tidak boleh hanya hanya berasal sisi medis atau kebijakan pemerintah, tetapi masyarakat turut terlibat dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan pandemi ini. Oleh karena masyarakatsebagai bagian dalam penanganan wabah itu sendiri.  Peran masyarakat terutama dalam meningkatkan notifikasi suspekagar cepat terdeteksi dam tertangani serta upaya dalam pencegahan Covid-19. Sampai saat ini peran Masyarakat belum dilaksanakan secara optimal. Merujuk pada nilai-nilai kearifan lokal di Provinsi Jawa Tengah, Gubernur menerapkan program pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan penularan dan penyebaran Covid-19 melalui gerakan Jogo Tonggo. Melalui program Jogo Tonggo pelaksanaan Surveilans Berbasis Masyarakatjuga dapat dilakukan. Langkah yang dipandang cukup efektif adalah melakukan penguatan peran Jogo Tonggo untuk melaksanakan Surveilans Berbasis Masyarakat dan pencegahannya. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan edukasi pada tim Jogo Tonggo di Kabupaten Semarang dengan mengambil lokasi di masyarakat Sebantengan Kabupaten Semarang.  Peserta yang terlibat sebanyak 25 orang.  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pengetahuan Tim Jogo Tonggo tentang fungsi, peran serta pemahaman tentang Covid-19 meningkat. Diharapkan penguatan Jogo Tonggo di Sebentengan, Ungaran terus berjalan dan memberikan dampak yang lebih baik bagi masyarakat sekitarnya

Handling the current pandemic situation, must not only come from the medical side or government policies, but the community is involved in efforts to prevent and overcome this pandemic. One of the efforts to overcome Covid-19 is to engange the community as apart on Covid-19 control.  Hereby it can increase the role of the community and can increase suspect notifications in regional situations so that they are quickly detected. However, until now Covid-19 the role of community based has not been implemented optimally. Referring to the values of local wisdom in the people of Central Java Province, the Governor of Central Java is empowering the community in an effort to prevent the transmission and spread of Covid-19 through the Jogo Tonggo movement. Through the Jogo Tonggo program, the implementation of Community-Based Surveillance can be carried out. A step that is considered quite effective is to strengthen the role of Jogo Tonggo to carry out Community-Based Surveillance. Jogo Tonggo's work, and conducting Jogo Tonggo surveillance practices in the community. The aim of this community services is to educate Jogo Tonggo team in Semarang District, located in Sebantengan Village.  Participants are 25 person involved in this program.  The result showed that the Jogo Tonggo team's were increasing of their knowledge, roles and understanding of Covid19 control. It is hoped that the strengthening of Jogo Tonggo in Sebantengan, Semarang District will continue and provide a significant impact for the surrounding community.
