Abstract

Kuersetin merupakan senyawa flavonoid yang melimpah di alam. Kuersetin memiliki aktivitas anti kanker sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif terapi kanker termasuk kanker payudara. Perlu dilakukan studi lebih lanjut mengenai potensinya dalam menghambat sel kanker payudara. Tujuan dari kajian sistematik ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas kuersetin sebagai inhibitor kanker payudara secara in vitro. Pencarian dilakukan dari dua database yaitu PubMed dan Springer. Literatur yang digunakan adalah literatur yang diterbitkan pada lima tahun terakhir dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi yang ditetapkan. Terdapat 10 jurnal yang relevan terhadap tujuan kajian sistematik ini. Sebanyak tujuh penelitian menggunakan jenis sel kanker payudara MCF-7 dan tiga penelitian menggunakan jenis sel kanker payudara MDA-MB. Penelitian tersebut menunjukkan hasil IC50yang beragam dari uji DPPH dan MTT, tetapi aktivitas antioksidan ataupun sitotoksik dari penelitian-penelitian tersebut termasuk kuat. Kuersetin memiliki aktivitas induksi kematian sel kanker payudara dengan tingkat selektivitas yang tinggi. Perbedaan preparasi kuersetin dapat mempengaruhi efek anti kanker payudara terhadap sel MCF-7 dan MDA-MB.
