Author Guidelines

General Rules

1. Manuscript is the original work of the author, has not been published before nor is currently under review for publication in another journal. 
2. Manuscript should be written in English. Authors whose native language is not English is strongly advised to proofread their manuscript before submitting
3. Manuscript should consist of 3000-5000 words (including tables, figures, and references). 

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should be submitted in Microsoft Word format with A4 (210  x 297 mm) paper size. File margin is 2.5 cm margin at the top, 2.5 cm margin at the bottom, 2.5 cm margin on the left, and 2.5 cm margin on the right. Lines are one-half spaced, justified. The manuscript should follow the headings bellow

1. Paper Title, paper title should be accurate, unambiguous, specific, and complete. Identify the main problem of the article in the paper or start with a subject that shows the highlight of the article. The paper title should be in capital letters, 16pt bold Calibri. 
2. Authors Name and Affiliation, Write the names of authors without professional titles and titles, such as professor, doctorate, production director, etc. Do not abbreviate your last name. Always include your first and last name (must be at least 2 (two) words).  The middle name is optional. Put superscript at the end of your name to indicate the first, second, etc author. Author name must be bold 10 pt Calibri. Please indicate the corresponding author by adding an asterisk (*) in the upper part after the name after the superscript number. Please be noted that only one author is allowed to be the corresponding author. The first author does not automatically become a Corresponding Author unless indicated in the paper. Clearly state the affiliation of all authors by using Calibri Light 10 pt, Italic. Affiliated units include study program/department, faculty/unit (faculty) name, university name, address, country, and email address. Put superscript at the beginning of affiliation details.
3. Abstract,  an abstract should stand alone, which means citation is not allowed. Abstract consists of the research purpose, design or methodology, research findings, theoretical contribution/originality, implication, and research limitation. The abstract should be precise, accurate, and brief. Please follow the word limitation (100-250 words). Insert 4-5 keywords or short phrases, separated by a semicolon (;). Choose keywords that highlight your paper.
4. Introduction, in the introduction section, the objectives and adequate background of the research should be provided clearly. Avoid putting a detailed literature survey or summary of the result. Explain the importance of the topic and how you addressed the problem (Calibri 12).
5. Literature Review, this section should contain extensive information about pieces of literature which used as the framework of knowledge (Calibri 12). The author can also put sub-headings (Calibri 12 pt, bold, italic) to differentiate sub-sections of the literature review.
6. Methods, this section should contain sufficient information for the readers to understand the method used in the paper. It is imperative to provide a details description of the study design, hypothesis, instrument, also statistical analysis if applicable. (Calibri 12). The author may put sub-sections if necessary. 
7. Result and Discussion, this section should contain the result of your research and followed by a comprehensive discussion of the result. We recommend presenting the result in a table, etc, to help readers in understanding the paper and followed by a brief explanation about the result. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature, instead focus on interpreting the result. (Calibri 12).
8. Conclusion, this section should contain the main conclusion the of study. It may be stands alone or separated into subsections. The conclusion should be clear and lead the reader into the important matter of the paper. It also can be followed by managerial implications and recommendations for further research. (Calibri 12).
9. References, we recommend using software such as Mendeley for the references. AJLM adopts the APA style. The list of references should be typed in Calibri 12 Normal; Sentence Case; paragraph: line spacing 1 line; before: 0 pt, after 6 pt. Here are some examples.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
