Pemodelan Pemilihan Moda Perjalanan dengan Kombinasi Stated dan Revealed Preference: Studi Kasus Kota Makassar

Penggunaan kendaraan pribadi semakin meningkat menyebabkan meningkatnya kemacetan. Rendahnya minat masyarakat dalam menggunakan BRT yang ditunjukkan dengan rendahnya load factor berdampak pada berhentinya pengoperasian BRT. Hal ini menjadikan adanya isu ketidakseimbangan antara supply dan demand transportasi. Dengan mengambil studi kasus di Kota Makassar, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan pemilihan moda transportasi guna mengetahui potensi permintaan angkutan umum massal dalam mendukung kebijakan pengembangan angkutan umum massal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis discrete choice model dengan pendekatan disagregat dengan menggunakan data stated dan revaled preferences yang berasal dari 400 responden. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan moda perjalanan berkaitan dengan karakteristik pelaku perjalanan, karakteristik perjalanan, karateristik fasilitas transportasi, persepsi terhadap moda, dan attitude. Probabilitas pemilihan angkutan umum lebih rendah (11%) dibandingkan kendaraan pribadi (52% untuk sepeda motor dan 24% untuk mobil). Lebih lanjut, analisis elastisitas menunjukkan bahwa BRT dan sepeda motor pribadi adalah moda transportasi yang paling sensitif terhadap perubahan terhadap perubahan biaya perjalanan. Guna dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan peluang permintaan terhadap BRT, tidak hanya diperlukan penurunan tarif BRT, namun juga biaya penggunaan kendaraan pribadi, terutama sepeda motor.
