Determining the effect of nutritional intake, complementary feeding, and low birth weight on stunting among toddlers in Kendari City in 2025. This study used an analytical design with a case-control approach. The study population consisted of all children aged 24–59 months in the working area of the Abeli Community Health Center, while the sample consisted of 106 respondents, comprising 53 cases and 53 controls, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews using structured questionnaires, nutritional intake assessments using the 24-hour recall method, and BBLR data obtained from the KIA book. Data analysis was performed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test and odds ratio with the help of SPSS version 26.0. The results showed that carbohydrate intake was not associated with stunting (p=0.101), protein intake (p=0.013), fat intake (p=0.112), and complementary feeding was also not associated with stunting (p=0.435). However, there is a significant relationship between low birth weight and stunting (p=0.001). In conclusion, BBLR and protein intake are significantly associated with stunting, while carbohydrate intake, fat intake, and complementary feeding are not. Prevention of stunting needs to focus on improving the nutrition of pregnant women and proper feeding practices for children . }, issn = {2807-8209}, doi = {10.14710/jrkm.2026.29828}, url = {https://ejournal2.undip.ac.id/index.php/jrkm/article/view/29828} }
