EKSPLORASI INDIKATOR DAN PENGUKURAN INDEKS KOTA KOMPAK TERHADAP MANFAAT EKONOMI DI PROVINSI DKI JAKARTA

Abstract


Sekitar 1,25 juta penduduk wilayah Bodetabek melakukan kegiatan utama di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Hal tersebut menyebabkan provinsi DKI Jakarta memiliki potensi untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi sehingga provinsi tersebut harus mampu mengelola pertumbuhan dan mempertahankan kekompakan. Dengan kepadatan penduduk, kondisi urbanisasi dan berbagai tantangan efisiensi lahan perkotaan menjadikan kelima Kota administrasi DKI Jakarta sebagai subjek yang menarik untuk penelitian indeks kekompakan kota. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji indeks kekompakan kota berdasarkan keluaran (outcome) ekonomi terhadap manfaat ekonomi perkotaan dalam mencegah perluasan kota. Metode perhitungan yang digunakan adalah Urban Compactness Index yang mengacu pada 3 variabel utama yaitu: (i) population density, (ii) land development density, dan (iii) road density. Kemudian menghitung indeks entropi di tiap wilayah administrasi dan membandingkannya dengan PDRB per kapita yang dihasilkan tiap wilayah administrasi. Didapatkan Jakarta Pusat memiliki nilai indeks entropi yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan Jakarta Utara, namun memiliki PDRB yang lebih tinggi.
