Generasi Sehat Kuat (GIAT): Collaboration of Teenagers, Teachers and Parents in Preventing Stunting from an Early Age

Abstract

Kolaborasi akademisi  dan sekolah melalui guru, remaja dan orang tua diharapkan mampu memperkuat upaya pencegahan stunting.  Program-program yang telah berjalan di Kota Samarinda, seperti program Posyandu Remaja dan Pelatihan Gizi Seimbang yang melibatkan sekolah dan masyarakat, telah memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran gizi dan kesehatan di kalangan remaja dan keluarga. Meskipun demikian, hasil Survei Status Gizi Indonesia menunjukkan bahwa Kota Samarinda mengalami kenaikan prevalensi stunting menjadi 25.3%.  Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat “GIAT” (Generasi Sehat dan Kuat) bertujuan mengedukasi untuk   meningkatkan pemahaman remaja tentang stunting, mendorong partisipasi aktif remaja, serta mengajak orangtua terlibat dalam pencegahan stunting serta mendorong peran aktif guru untuk untuk menjadi fasilitator bagi remaja di sekolah. Edukasi remaja dilakukan melalui e-flip book, ceramah "Isi Piringku, Anemia, Stunting", dan mini expo. Model pendampingan yang diterapkan untuk guru dan orang tua menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan penggunaan booklet. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan remaja terkait stunting setelah diberikan edukasi sebesar 53.35% (skor awal 15.82 menjadi 24.36). Kegiatan penguatan terkait pencegahan stunting  pada guru dan orang tua menggunakan booklet sebagai media promosi. Edukasi yang telah dilakukan kepada remaja, guru dan orang tua diharapkan menjadi aktivitas berkelanjutan  melalui peningkatan  pengetahuan dan pembentukan perilaku terkait pencegahan stunting.
