Author Guidelines

Manuscript Components

Research result article consists of : Title, author's name, abstract in English and/or Indonesia, key words, introductions, methods, results & discussions, conclusions and references.

Review article consists of  : Title, author’s name, abstract in English, key words, introductions, contents, closings, and references.

The maximum number of pages is 10 pages/article



WRITING GUIDE

The manuscript typed on one side, A4 size (210x297 mm2), using single spaces, the type of Century Gothic letter, the size of 12 points , with a 2cm edge edge on the right and left sides and 3cm at the lower and upper bounds. The research paper is expected to be no more than 10 pages (including drawings and tables).

Title

Title is written in solid, clear, and informative, maximum 12 words. Running title (running tittle) about 5 words. Title does not contain abbreviations or formulas. The title page should include the title of the manuscript only. The names of authors should be deleted to ensure double blinding of the paper during the peer review process.

Abstract and Keywords

Abstract should be no more than 250 words, written in one paragraph, using Indonesian and English for manuscripts in Indonesian or English only for manuscripts in English. Keywords 3-5 words, including scientific and regional names, research topics and specific methods used.

Introduction


Introduction is presented in an integrated manner without sub title. It is written in the form of paragraphs with a length of 15-20% of the articles length, and contains : background, literature review in brief, gap analysis and research  objectives.

Materials and Methods

Materials and Methods should be emphasized on the workings and methods of data analysis.

Results and Discussion

Results and Discussion is written as a series, in writing long enough should be made several sub-titles. The discussion is the answer to the question of why and how the results of research can occur, rather than merely revealing the results of research in the form of a sentence. Manuscripts of literature without subtitles Materials and Methods, and Results and Discussion.

Conclusion

Conclusion contains the conclusions of the research undertaken and the implications.

References
Manuscript uses a Mendeley or EndNote reference manager. Contain literatures that are referenced in the content, arranged alphabetically, and written in the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition system. The literature referred to in the manuscript is written in the author's last name and year. In the phrase referred to by some authors, the author's name is sorted according to bibliography update. In a manuscript written by two authors, both names are mentioned. While the manuscripts are written by three or more authors, only the first author's name is written followed by et al. eg: Suryono & Leonard (1990) or (Gunawan et al., 1998; Baker & Manwell, 1991; Smith 1982a, b).

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  7. The number of pages is 10 pages
