Focus and Scope

Jurnal Energi Baru & Terbarukan (p-ISSN: 2809-5456 and e-ISSN: 2722-6719) in has a focus on the development and application of renewable energy with a multi-disciplinary approach from social, economic and technology.

The scope of the journal includes biomass energy, electrical energy, solar energy, wind energy, ocean wave energy, fuel cell, energy storage, electricity distribution for rural areas. Energy diversification and intensification, energy conservation, energy management and policy, energy audit. Energy modeling which includes LCA, dynamic modeling, energy planning, etc.

Peer Review Process / Policy

The articles published in the Journal Energi Baru & Terbarukan (p-ISSN: 2809-5456 and e-ISSN: 2722-6719) are reviewed first by Peer Reviewers before they are published. The publishing decision of submitted article is determined by the Chief Editor in the Editorial Board forum which is based on recommendations or comments from Peer Reviewers.

Screening Plagiarism of the texts that go into this journal is done with the help of Google Scholar , Grammarly, or Turnitin application.


Publication Frequency

Journal Energi Baru & Terbarukan (p-ISSN: 2809-5456 and e-ISSN: 2722-6719) is scheduled for publication three times  a year in Maret, Juli and October.  It is electronically published via journal Energi Baru & Terbarukan website Authors are encouraged to submit the article at least three months before Maret, Juli and October. 


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.


Article Processing Cost

There is no article processing cost for publication in this journal(free of charge)


Archieving Policy

Journal Energi Baru dan Terbarukan utilizes the LOCKSS system and Portico to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration
