IHiS (Indonesian Historical Studies) is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year by the Master’s Program in History, Department of History, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. The journal aims to promote critical perspectives on both established and emerging themes in historical studies within the defined scope. For more information, please refer to the journal’s Focus and Scope.

Important Notification:

  1. Indonesian Historical Studies (IHiS) has been indexed by DOAJ and Google Scholar, Crossref, and SINTA.
  2. The authors should submit their manuscript via Online Submission menu provided on this page.
  3. Authors are advised to check their email regularly, as all notifications regarding the status of their submission and the review process will be sent via email.
  4. Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools (such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote) to organize the references in their manuscript. However, authors are also advised to carefully double-check all references for accuracy and completeness.
