Analisis Faktor yang Memengaruhi Kualitas Hidup Lansia dengan Penyakit Kronis

Abstract

Penuaan meningkatkan prevalensi penyakit kronis pada lansia yang dapat memengaruhi kualitas hidup mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kualitas hidup lansia dengan penyakit kronis di Rumah Sakit Universitas Sebelas Maret serta menganalisis pengaruh faktor internal dan eksternal terhadap kualitas hidup. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain potong lintang dilakukan pada 70 lansia selama Januari–April 2024 menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Kualitas hidup diukur menggunakan kuesioner WHOQOL-OLD, sedangkan data demografi dan klinis diperoleh dari rekam medis. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji independent t-test dan Mann–Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki kualitas hidup yang baik dengan rerata skor total WHOQOL-OLD sebesar 70,58. Dari enam domain WHOQOL-OLD, domain Intimacy memperoleh skor rerata tertinggi (81,33). Status pendidikan merupakan satu-satunya faktor internal yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas hidup (p = 0,03), di mana responden dengan tingkat pendidikan ≥12 tahun memiliki skor kualitas hidup yang lebih tinggi. Faktor eksternal tidak dapat dianalisis secara statistik karena karakteristik responden yang homogen pada kategori yang diteliti. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pendidikan berperan penting dalam kualitas hidup lansia dengan penyakit kronis.
