GADING: Journals of Marine Technology and Ship Construction is a scientific research-based journal. All articles submitted will be reviewed in a closed (blind review) by the Peer Reviewers. In general, each journal manuscript will be reviewed by two Peer Reviewers. If one of the two Peer Reviewers refuses to review the journal manuscript, the Editorial Board will find a replacement for another Peer Reviewer so that the number of Peer Reviewers for the journal manuscript remains 2 (two) experts.
The responses from the reviewers will be used as the basis for the Editorial Board to determine whether an article is acceptable, needs to be revised, resubmitted for review, or rejected. A journal manuscript is rejected for publication due to various considerations, including the journal manuscript are not accordance with the scope of the journal, the scientific side of the article is not sufficient to be classified as a scientific paper, fundamental methodological errors, or due to the author rejects improvements from the Peer Reviewer suggestions.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
