Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan kajian terhadap Novel Everna: Rajni Sari karya Andry Chang melalui perspektif sastra fantasi. Kajian ini bermaksud untuk menjelaskan aspek-aspek fantasi pada novel terkait dan membuktikan bahwa mode fantastik yang digunakan adalah fantasi imersif berdasarkan teori sub-creation Tolkien, asumsi realitas Greer Watson, dan taksonomi fantasi Farah Mendhlesohn. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian struktural dengan metode studi pustaka. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak-catat dan hasil analisis diuraikan secara deskriptif dalam bentuk kalimat dan gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel terkait merupakan fantasi imersif yang dibuktikan dengan konsep sub-kreasi, yakni: (1) keberadaan unsur ajaib (Faerie), serta (2) keberadaan dunia sekunder dan kepercayaan sekunder.
