Identifikasi Keterikatan Tempat di Alun-alun Kota Probolinggo

Abstract
Keterikatan tempat terbentuk melalui proses interaksi manusia yang lama. Efek urbanisasi mempercepat perubahan yang berpotensi melemahkan dan menghancurkan ikatan manusia dengan tempat tersebut. Penting untuk memahami keterikatan tempat sebagai konsep untuk perencanaan ruang publik, seperti halnya yang terjadi di Alun-alun sebagai pusat aktivitas bagi masyarakat urban. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pembentuk keterikatan tempat pada Alun-alun Kota Probolinggo. Dengan pendekatan explanatory sequential mixed methods, penelitian dimulai dengan pengumpulan data kuantitatif melalui kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis dan diperdalam dengan wawancara serta observasi, sehingga menghasilkan pemahaman komprehensif mengenai 3 dimensi keterikatan tempat.  Penelitian menganalisis 3 aspek: (1) budaya (nilai historis dan tradisi), (2) pengalaman personal (intensitas kunjungan), dan (3) karakteristik demografis. Hasil menunjukkan keterikatan terbentuk melalui dimensi afektif (kenyamanan), kognitif (pemaknaan simbolik), dan budaya (partisipasi kegiatan). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman pengguna terhadap sejarah terbatas, namun keterikatan tetap kuat karena pengalaman berulang. Sebanyak 68% responden merasa nyaman dan bangga, didorong oleh aspek fisik dan interaksi sosial. Alun-alun berfungsi multigenerasi: muda untuk sosialisasi; dewasa untuk relaksasi; dan lansia untuk interaksi sosial. Keberlanjutannya tidak hanya bergantung pada nilai historis, tetapi pada partisipasi aktif masyarakat. Strategi pengembangan perlu fokus pada inklusivitas, kenyamanan, dan pelibatan warga agar alun-alun tetap relevan sebagai ruang publik yang bermakna.
