Tinjauan Implikasi Pusat Pertumbuhan terhadap Penggunaan Air Bersih

Abstract
Kesenjangan dalam pembangunan menjadi tantangan yang tak terhindarkan karena perbedaan sumber daya alam dan kondisi demografi. Konsep pusat pertumbuhan diterapkan untuk mengatasi kesenjangan ini, namun peningkatan populasi dan konsentrasi kegiatan mendorong tingginya penggunaan air bersih yang seringkali tidak selaras dengan ketersediaan air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara pusat pertumbuhan dan penggunaan air bersih di sektor-sektor seperti pariwisata, industri, pertanian dan peternakan. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi literatur, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi karakteristik penggunaan air yang berbeda di masing-masing sektor. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pertimbangan perencanaan kebutuhan air tidak hanya berdasarkan jumlah penduduk tetapi juga karakteristik spesifik dari setiap sektor kegiatan. Hasil temuan memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan sumber daya air yang efektif dan berkelanjutan dalam konteks pembangunan pusat pertumbuhan, serta menawarkan rekomendasi untuk penyediaan air yang lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan multisektor.
