Abstract

The achievement of JKN participation in West Sumatra is lower than the national achievement, namely the lowest participation segment is Non-Paid Workers (PBPU) participants at 18.7% and Non-Workers at 2.7%, the majority of whom come from informal sector workers. In addition, it was followed by a high increase in JKN inactive participants. This is a JKN membership problem that must be addressed. The lack of public understanding of the importance of national health insurance is one factor. Intervention is needed to provide knowledge and public awareness to increase JKN membership coverage. The aim is to increase the knowledge of cadres by empowering cadres as community mobilizers, namely actively educating the local community to increase awareness and knowledge of the importance of participating in the JKN program, especially for people who are in the informal sector workers. The method used is situation analysis, problem identification, and problem prioritization, and activity strategy. The intervention was in the form of counseling about the JKN Education Program for health cadres in the working area of Kuranji Community Health Center. The intervention activities were aimed at 20 health cadres in the working area of Kuranji Community Health Center.. The results of the activity are an increase in knowledge before and after the education of the JKN program from 4.95 to 7.45, there is a joint commitment with cadres and health centers to actively educate people who are not yet active JKN participants. The Puskesmas can form JKN cadres by working with BPJS Health to activate JKN cadres as drivers for JKN membership in the working area of the Kuranji Community Health Center. provide training to cadres to run the JKN program by involving BPJS Health, for Cadres to invite all people who have not participated in JKN to become JKN participants
